Hello! I'm Ben, an artist, a foodie, a coffee enthusiast & a storyteller. Now this whole experience of tying the knot can be a little, overwhelming, so let's start it slow, and get to know each other.
I'm classically trained, with a degree in photography (with honours) and over 10 years experience in the wedding photography industry. Although I know all about the big stuff, my job on the wedding day is to capture the little things; the glances, the smirks and personal fireworks that define your relationships.
As you get to know me, you'll soon realise that I'm not about splitting hairs. If I'm booked for your wedding, I'm there. I'm committed to the day, I'll capture everything that happens and I'll be right there with you for the entire journey, from our first email, to our last handshake.

Having completed my undergraduate degree in photography, I've learnt the intricacies of light and how to use it to create emotion.

So What's Your Style Like?
My Photographic style is very much documentary. I see myself as the story teller of your special day, capturing the events and emotions of every moment. If you hardly notice I'm there, then I am a happy man. I want to blend into the background, capturing timeless images of your day for you to show off to your family and friends for years, and generations to come.
What About Video?
Unfortunately no, I'm not a videographer. I do know several fantastic storytellers that I can recommend for your day, and I can easily set up a tripod to record items such as the ceremony and speeches. But if you're after a full service wedding videographer, I suggest you contact me as I know some rippers.
Online Albums?
After the big day you'll first get a sneak-peak of your photos within a few days. Then once I'm all done editing, the rest will be uploaded as well. This online album is all through my site and allows you and your guests to download them to their hearts content. It's easy, quick and included with every package.
So, How About A Coffee?
You read my mind! Meetings are encouraged, as many and as often as needed! I love to grab a latte (no sugar) with my couples to chat through their special day. Complimentary with all wedding bookings.
Travel
Me and my Prado have been all over Victoria shooting weddings, and interstate on other assignments. We are no stranger to dirt tracks or city traffic. If I have to drive more than an hour I'll bring it up, but falling short of that, it's all part of the day.
If you have more elaborate travels needs, we'll chat through it and come up with a solution.
Family Shots? Details? The Kiss? Groups?
When I'm at your weddings, I'm there 100%. I will document every little moment of your day, your shoes, flowers, jewellery, your emotions, cologne, friends, kisses, hugs...you get the idea. For groups, I like to get a list from you before the wedding so I can make sure I hit every group so no one misses out.
We're Not About Posing.
I'm yet to meet a couple that is. Don't worry, we will work together to find shots, angles and light that show you, for you. And if you want something a little more elaborate, I will make it work.

Do I Get The Shots In High Res?
I will supply you with 2 version of each image. One full res for printing, and a low res for web use. Easy-pie.
How Many Shots Do I Get?
There is no hard limit to how many shots I can supply you with. As far as I see it, they're all your shots anyway; it's your day, not mine! However I normally deliver somewhere around the 400 mark.
